After School Program
Our after school programs provide structured, nurturing environments for your children to learn and grow intellectually and socially. Homework help is provided daily along with structured games, art projects and specialists. Some sites also have use of computer labs.

The Arbors Kids After School programs follow the Chicopee public school calendar.
Before School
Starting at 6:30 a.m., the morning program at The Arbors Kids provides breakfast for your child before they go to school along with some time to wake up and socialize before starting their day. Children are picked up by school bus or transported by The Arbors Kids van to school each morning.
Specialists
Every week, each program is visited by specialists. They provide an optional program for the children to participate in. These specialists plan activities that are age appropriate and help the children learn. These programs and activities promote creativity and thought as a way of learning and having fun.
Currently, The Arbors Kids After School Programs have the following specialists:
- Lisa Lanno – Creative Writing – A local children's book author. She plans activities that have the children thinking and creating stories. She programs for children of all ages. Her book, "The Secret Cave" can be found here.
- Steve Lourakis – Music – He uses sound and rhythm to teach the children life lessons. He teaches children about unique and interesting instruments, he sings fun songs with them and even teaches them silly dances. Steve also teaches private lessons.
Vacation Camp
During the 3 vacation weeks of the school year, The Arbors Kids After School Program provides care from 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Arts & Crafts, Structured Games, Cooking Projects and Field Trips are all parts of the schedule during these full days. Information for these weeks is available weeks before the vacation dates.
Full Days / Half Days / Snow Days
During the school year, the schedule is filled with half days, professional development days, and unexpected snow days. Half days and snow days are part of the regular weekly fee. Full day programs are an additional cost, but are prorated with your weekly tuition. Full day and half day programs require sign ups either by sign up sheet, telephone or email. All payments can be made at The Arbors Kids through tuition express.
