The Arbors Kids has carefully selected experienced, professional, loving staff to care for the children enrolled in our facility. Each staff member meets our high standards for child care training and dealing with children’s special issues such as separation anxiety and potty training. Our staff members maintain all licensing requirements and are certified in basic first aid. They enjoy ongoing training in child development so they are knowledgeable of the latest information and research.

We maintain a low child-teacher ratio to ensure close attention to each child. Our teachers are friendly, patient, and enjoy watching children grow and develop new skills.

Our staff hope to enrich the lives of all the children they work and play with here at The Arbors Kids. We are certain you will be pleased with the love, care and education your child receives.

The Arbors Kids recognizes the importance of keeping our facility secure. The main entrance utilizes a pass code system and video surveillance for security. All visitors will be warmly greeted at the front office.

Each classroom has a video camera which monitors the children and activities throughout the day. Parents can view the live camera images in their child’s classroom via the internet with a special password.

We maintain an open door policy for parents during day care hours. You are always welcome to call or drop in to see your children. The daily schedule for each class is posted so you can visit at the most appropriate times for you and your child.

Parents are also encouraged to be involved in their child’s day care experience through chaperoning and visiting the center.

The Arbors Kids provides nutritious foods and snacks throughout the day. We offer a variety of healthy foods and encourage all the children to try the food being served. Breakfast and lunch are served daily. A mid-afternoon snack is also provided each day. All children at our facility during those times will be served.

We ask parents to supply formula or breast milk for their infants so we may maintain the same feeding program they provide at home.

The Arbors Kids is a custom designed facility for your children’s fun and safety. It is bright and pleasant with a home-like atmosphere to make your child feel positive and comfortable. It offers creative and classroom areas, quiet places, toys and learning materials, plus indoor and outdoor play spaces.

The Arbors Kids is the latest addition to a unique family owned business that specializes in the love and care of family members. Our assisted living facility, The Arbors at Chicopee, is right next door and offers our children special inter-generational experiences throughout the year. Music programs, arts and crafts, and just the wonderful attention of a special “grammy” or “gramps” add to your child’s feeling of home.

We will visit at The Arbors Chicopee for special events and our mature residents will visit The Arbors Kids to read a story, help with lunch, or offer a warm hug.

We plan field trips throughout the year for fun, education, and new experiences for us all. Parental permission is always required and we encourage parents to join us.

We also celebrate the holidays and share the children’s cultural background with the classroom. Children enjoy the excitement that accompanies these festive times.

We make birthdays a special day for each child by having a small celebration and a special lunch time treat for all the class.

The Arbors Kids keeps the same general schedule as the local schools, so in the summer we offer our Summer Fun programs. Our children’s programs will change from school-based learning activities to a more fun and play curriculum. Our Summer Fun program maintains all the standards, meals, and child care as our school-based programs.

Your child will enjoy the change of pace as we offer fun, games, and new activities to go with the sunny warm weather!

Upon opening The Arbors Kids will be licensed by the Office of Child Care Services to meet or exceed all state agency requirements.

The Arbors Kids shall not discriminate in the admission of any child or family into the program on the basis of race, color, sex, age, disability, religion, national origin, cultural heritage, marital status, sexual orientation or political beliefs.
